Man in custody after barricade situation in Point Breeze

POINT BREEZE (WPVI) -- A barricade situation ended with police taking a man into custody in the Point Breeze section of Philadelphia.

Police responded to a domestic call around 3 a.m. Saturday on the 2100 block of Oakford Street.

A woman was injured inside a house, and the man refused to come out, police say.

She told police the man was locked in the house with multiple guns.

SWAT teams arrived and began negotiating with the man.

About an hour later, the SWAT team entered the home, and took the man into custody, peacefully.

No word on how the woman was injured.
