Man injured in Center City shooting

CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- A shooting left a man injured in Center City.

The shooting happened around 7 p.m. Sunday in the 800 block of Spruce Street.

Police responded to Pennsylvania Hospital for a report of a wounded man.

The 25-year-old man told police he got off a bus at 10th and Filbert streets, and was heading toward Delaware Avenue and Spring Garden Street when he was shot in the right knee.

He was taken to the hospital where he is listed in stable condition.

So far, no arrests have been made.
