Man rushed to hospital with gunshot wound in Kensington

KENSINGTON (WPVI) -- Police say a 23-year-old man was rushed to the hospital with a gunshot wound in Philadelphia's Kensington section early Wednesday morning.

The shooting occurred just before 3:00 a.m. on the 1800 block of East Madison Street.

The victim suffered a wound to the buttocks.

He is listed in stable condition.

Police are looking for the suspect who fled the scene.

So far, there is no word a motive for the shooting.
