Man shot 6 times in Overbrook driveway

OVERBROOK (WPVI) -- Authorities say someone opened fire on a 21-year-old man while he was standing in a driveway in Overbrook.

It happened shortly before 8:30 p.m. Wednesday on the 900 block of Edgemore Road.

Police say the victim was shot at least six times.

Officers rushed him to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in critical but stable condition.

No word on a possible motive or any arrests.

Police continue to investigate.
