Man shot during attack, robbery in Kensington

Philadelphia police are looking for a suspect who attacked and robbed a man in the city's Kensington section.

PORT RICHMOND (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are looking for a suspect who attacked and robbed a man in the city's Kensington section.

The incident happened on November 18 on the 1800 block of East Clementine Street.

Police say the victim was walking to his parked vehicle around 6:15 p.m. when he was approached by an unknown male who began punching him and going through his pockets.

Trying to fight back, the victim pulled a gun from his vehicle.

The gun fired during the fight and hit the victim in his left hand.

The suspect then fled on foot with the gun in hand.

The victim was transported to Temple Hospital in stable condition.

Police describe the suspect as a male of unknown race. He was wearing a green camouflage army jacket.
