Police say a 30-year-old man was shot in the head while sitting in a SUV in Philadelphia's Grays Ferry section late Wednesday night.
The shooting happened around 11:15 p.m. on the 2500 block of Manton Street.
He was rushed to the hospital and died a short time later.
The victim, police say was shot at point-blank range twice.
The driver's side window was open and shell casings littered the ground in front of the SUV.
There are no arrests or word on the motive for the shooting.
Police are talking to witnesses.
