Man shot outside bar in West Philadelphia

WEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police say a man was shot outside a bar in West Philadelphia early Friday morning.

The shooting happened around 12:45 a.m. at Natalie's Lounge on the 400 block of Market Street.

The 30-year-old man was shot in the thigh as he was talking to a woman outside the bar, police say.

The victim is a bartender at the establishment, but was off work when he was shot.

He managed to stumble back in the bar for help.

He was rushed to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in stable condition.

Police have made no arrests or said a motive for the shooting.

They are interviewing witnesses from the bar who may have heard something.
