Man found naked and bleeding outside Overbrook home

OVERBROOK (WPVI) -- A 49-year-old man is in custody after another man was found naked and bleeding on a street in the Overbrook section of Philadelphia.

Police say it happened at 1:30 a.m. Tuesday after some kind of argument erupted at a home on Columbia Avenue near 61st Street.

Officers arrived to find a 58-year-old man stabbed multiple times to the torso, arms and legs. He was not wearing any clothing.

Medics rushed the victim to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in stable condition, where he underwent surgery.

Officers took a 49-year-old man into custody at the stabbing scene. A woman was also led away and both were questioned.

Police tell Action News charges are now pending against the man.

There was no immediate word what led to the argument.
