Masked gunman robs Sunoco gas station in Northeast Philadelphia

NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police are searching for the gunman who robbed a gas station in the Morrell Park section of Philadelphia.

Police say the masked man walked into the store in the 10000 block of Frankford Avenue at 3:30 a.m. Monday.

He made off with an unknown amount of cash from the register.

Witnesses told police he fled on foot towards Hegerman Street.

There were no injuries reported.
