Police are investigating after a minivan slammed into a South Jersey townhouse, completing destroying the first floor of the home.

PLEASANTVILLE, N.J. (WPVI) -- Police are investigating after a minivan slammed into a South Jersey townhouse, completing destroying the first floor of the home.

It happened just before 5:30 p.m. Sunday on Manery Avenue, just off West Leeds Avenue in Pleasantville.

Police say the driver of the minivan somehow lost control, and slammed into the front of the house.

There were people inside the house at the time of the crash. Fortunately, they were on the second floor, and were not injured.

The driver and two kids were treated on the scene for minor injuries.

No word on what caused the crash.
