PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A 14-year-old Philadelphia girl who went missing Monday has been reunited with her mother.

Action News was on the scene Wednesday evening as Adamarys "Ady" Franco-Torres showed up at The Lighthouse, a preschool community center in West Kensington where her mother teaches.

She and her mother hugged.

Ady was last seen leaving her home on the 4900 block of Gransback Street on Monday, but never showed up for school at the School of the Future.

Her mother told Action News she went with a friend to meet a man she met online at 5th and Lehigh.

The friend left, but told the family the man didn't match the picture of the person online.

Her mother says she received phone calls from Ady including one where her daughter was heard screaming, 'Mommy! Mommy! Mommy!' prior to the call being disconnected.

John Lavery is the executive director of The Lighthouse and spokesperson for the family.

"She's made two frantic calls to her mother that have been cut off. Makes me feel like she's not happy where she is, she's not liking where she is. Her mother reports her as sounding very scared. The phone calls aren't completed," Lavery said.

That phone call to the mother took place Tuesday night.

Since then, the mother claims to have received threatening calls.

"Saying, 'why are you saying I have your daughter? I don't know who she is. I do know who she is. If I see her, I'll let you know. I'll drop her off at work.' Very changing stories about whether or not he knows who she is or what," Lavery said.

Anyone with information should call Philadelphia Police East Detective Division at 215-686-3243 or call 911.
