Montco judge officially sentences Raghu Yandamuri to death

NORRISTOWN, Pa. (WPVI) -- A Montgomery county judge formally sentenced Raghu Yandamuri to death.

Yandamuri was convicted of killing 10-month-old Saanvi Venna and her 61-year-old grandmother in a botched kidnapping in King of Prussia back in October 2012.

The jury that convicted Yandamuri decided on the death penalty last month.

On Thursday afternoon, a judge made that sentence official.
