New school for new opportunities

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Meanwhile Philadelphia now has a new school for students wanting a technical education.

To help commemorate national manufacturing day, Mayor Nutter, along with Pennsylvania Senator Bob Casey junior, took part in this opening ceremony, for the new Center for Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering.

It will be a part of Benjamin Franklin high school in North Philadelphia.

Guests were able to tour the new facility, which will offer specialized classes in various technical fields.
