Nissan has unveiled a new self-driving chair that could make waiting in line easier.
A fleet of self-driving seats, all equipped with sensors, would allow each chair to detect and follow the one in front of it, maintaining a fixed distance.
That would allow users to sit rather than stand in line, the company says.
Right now the chairs are on display in Japan.
Nissan says it will gauge the public's response before deciding whether to advance the prototype into full production.
