Officers find shooting victim on street in Holmesburg

HOLMESBURG (WPVI) -- At least one person was injured in a shooting late Wednesday afternoon in Philadelphia's Holmesburg section.

The shooting happened on the 4700 block of Meridian Street.

Officers responding to reports of shots fired, arrived to find a male victim on the street suffering from a gunshot wound.

The victim's condition is unknown at this time.

So far there is no word on arrests of a motive.
