The fraternity where a New Jersey student died over the weekend has suspended operations, while an investigation is underway.

The fraternity where a New Jersey student died over the weekend has suspended operations, while an investigation is underway.

According to police, 19-year-old Timothy Piazza was injured when he fell down the stairs at the Beta Theta Pi fraternity house Thursday night.

However, first responders weren't notified until the next morning.

Piazza died Saturday.

Police say the fraternity members are cooperating with the investigation.

Piazza of Hunterdon County was an engineering major.
