Philadelphia firefighter, girlfriend charged with assaulting pregnant ex-wife

A Philadelphia firefighter is accused of assaulting his ex-wife.

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A Philadelphia firefighter and his girlfriend have been charged with assaulting his pregnant ex-wife and her current boyfriend, the Philadelphia District Attorney's office announced Thursday.

38-year-old Michael Lawson and 28-year-old Sada Geenlee, are charged with Aggravated Assault, Conspiracy, Simple Assault, Recklessly Endangering Another Person (REAP), Possession of Instrument of a Crime (PIC), Terroristic Threats, Simple Assault and other related charges.

The two are accused of assaulting Lawson's ex-wife, who is currently 8 months pregnant, and her boyfriend.

Police say the pair are charged for two assaults; the first occurred on September 15 and the second on September 30.

Lawson and Greenlee were arraigned overnight and bail was set at $75,000 each.

Their next court date is scheduled for October 20.
