The Philadelphia Police Marine Unit pulled a body from the Delaware River at Penn's Landing Friday night.

PENNS LANDING -- The Philadelphia Police Marine Unit pulled a body from the Delaware River at Penn's Landing Friday night.

The body, believed to be that of a black female between 20-40 years old, was spotted in an area between Market and Chestnut streets.

The woman was transported to the Marine headquarters on Washington Avenue where she was pronounced dead at 7:01 p.m.

So far, no word if foul play is suspected.
