Pilot program helps students keep reading skills on track

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (WPVI) -- A new pilot program is helping students keep their reading skills on track during the summer months.

The Playstreet Book Club launched in South Philadelphia Tuesday.

The program provides five free books to children at 16 locations across the city that serve USDA funded meals.
