Two people suffered stab wounds during a house party in North Philadelphia.

NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police are investigating a double stabbing that occurred during a house party in Northeast Philadelphia.

Police say a 21-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman were stabbed around 3:30 a.m. inside a house on the 3500 block of Welsh Road.

Both victims were taken by ambulance to Aria Health Torresdale.

The 21-year-old man was stabbed in the head. He is in stable condition.

The 18-year-old woman was stabbed once in the stomach. She is in critical condition.

So far there is no word on what sparked the incident.

No arrests have been made.
