Police: Driver strikes SUV, brings down telephone pole, then flees

OVERBROOK (WPVI) -- Police are looking for the driver who they say left the scene of an accident and also caused a trail of property damage along the way.

It happened around 7:30 p.m. in the 6200 block of Lebanon Avenue.

Authorities say the driver struck a parked SUV, knocking it into a telephone pole.

The telephone pole fell with portions of it striking two other parked vehicles.

The driver fled the scene.

Police continue to investigate.
