A man was shot during a home invasion in Brewerytown.

BREWERYTOWN (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are investigating a home invasion in Brewerytown.

The incident occurred shortly after 8:00 a.m. Friday on the 2900 block of Nicholas Street.

There, police say a 44-year-old male was shot once in each leg during a home invasion.

Police say four to five males are responsible for the incident after entering the house through a side window.

They fled the scene out the front door with $300 and a cell phone.

Medics transported the victim to Temple Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
