Police investigate sex assault in Spring Garden

SPRING GARDEN (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are investigating an alleged sexual assault in the city's Spring Garden section.

It happened around 7:00 p.m. Thursday near 16th and Callowhill streets.

Police say a woman in her 20s was pulled behind a bush and was touched inappropriately.

Responding officers apprehended a man and are questioning him.

No charges have been filed.
