Police pursuit ends in crash in Port Richmond

PORT RICHMOND (WPVI) -- A police chase ended in a crash on Tuesday in the Port Richmond section of Philadelphia.

The crash happened in the area of Tulip Street and Allegheny Avenue shortly before 12 p.m.

It was the end result of a pursuit involving Pennsylvania State Police.

There was no immediate word what led to the chase.

One person is hospitalized, but it's not clear if that person was the suspect.

The view from Chopper 6 showed two damaged vehicles on the scene.
