Police search for missing student on leave from University of Pennsylvania

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police are looking for a missing college student who took a leave of absence from the University of Pennsylvania.

20-year-old Timothy Hamlett was last seen by his parents on Friday in Teaneck, New Jersey.

Investigators were able to track his cell phone to the area of the George Washington Bridge.

The phone has since lost power.

Port Authority police in New Jersey and New York City are investigating his disappearance.
