Police are searching for two suspects wanted in collection with several armed robberies in North Philadelphia.

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are looking for two suspects behind an armed robbery spree in North Philadelphia.

The most recent incident happened on December 18 at the B&R Grocery Store on the 2600 block of North 23rd Street.

The armed suspects entered the store at 8 p.m. wearing black ski masks.

They fled the scene in a dark colored late model Ford Taurus with an unknown amount of cash.

The thieves struck 7 other grocery stores between November 15th and December 17.

Six of the hold-ups were caught on surveillance.

Investigators say the pair appear to be targeting Spanish owned convenient stores.

The suspects are described as two black or Hispanic males, medium build, one with a very light complexion. They were each wearing dark colored track sweatpants with reflective stripes on the legs, Nike hooded sweatshirts, gloves, masks and armed with handguns.
