Police: Suspect wore Halloween mask during Olney home invasion, shooting

Philadelphia police are looking for two suspects wanted for a home invasion and shooting in the city's Olney section.

OLNEY (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are looking for two armed suspects who shot a man during a violent home invasion in the city's Olney neighborhood.

The incident happened at 6:30 a.m. Thursday morning at a home on the 200 block of Widener Avenue.

Police say two armed suspects- one of which was wearing a rubber Halloween mask - approached the 28 year-old female victim while she was outside her home.

They forced her back inside and demanded money.

Inside the home, a second victim, a 46 year-old man, began struggling with the suspects.

They opened fire, grazing the man in the arm and striking him in the stomach.

Both suspects then fled the scene, leaving behind the Halloween mask and gun.

They were last seen entering a white Chevy Impala that was driven by an unknown person with a possible PA tag # ending in 4591.

The first suspect is described as a black male in his mid-twenties, 5'9 tall with a thin build, dark brown complexion. He was clean shaven with small dread locks in hair and wearing a camouflage or animal patterned hooded sweatshirt, dark colored pants with light colored stripe on both legs.

The second suspect is described as a black male, 20 years-old, 5'9 tall with a thin build, medium complexion and wearing all dark clothing.
