Police trying to ID body found in Cohansey River

BRIDGETON, N.J. (WPVI) -- Police in Bridgeton, New Jersey are trying to identify a man found dead in the Cohansey River.

It was around 2:00 p.m. Wednesday when officials removed the body from the river.

In addition to the man's identity, police are trying to figure out how he ended up in the river.

Early indications show no apparent foul play involved.

The man is described as Latin male in his 40's.

Anyone with information that could aid in the investigation is asked to contact police.
