Police: Warrington man charged with rape, assault

WARRINGTON, Pa. (WPVI) -- A man from Warrington, Pa. has been arrested and charged with the rape of one girl and the assault of another.

Elmer Orlando Yanes, 31, of the 1200 block of Lisa Drive was arrested on Tuesday morning.

Police say the investigation began after the two girls made the allegations.

The girls are known to Yanes, police said.

Investigators did not release the ages of the girls, but Yanes is charged with Rape of a Child (less than 13 years of age).

Yanes has been arraigned and is being held on $1 million bail.

He has also been ordered not to have contact with minors.
