Porch fires reported in Hunting Park

HUNTING PARK (WPVI) -- Philadelphia firefighters battled a blaze in the city's Hunting Park section Thursday.

Chopper 6 HD was over the 4100 block of North 7th Street as crews responded.

The blaze broke out around 11:30 a.m.

The fire department said it received several calls at that time reporting a series of porch fires in the area.

There were no immediate reports of injuries from the North 7th Street fire.

No details were given about the other reported fires.

Fire investigators are looking into the matter.
