PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Tens of thousands of runners braved chilly rain along a 10-mile course in Philadelphia for the 37th annual Blue Cross Broad Street.

40,000 runners laced up to make the ten mile trek down Broad Street to the Navy Yard on Sunday morning.
Tony Nogueira, 48, of Glen Ridge, NJ was the first wheelchair finisher at a time of 36:52 and a pace of 3:41/mi.
The first male finisher was 24-year-old Abebe Mekuria of New York, NY who finished with a time of 48:43 and a pace of 4:52/mi.

The first female finisher was 27-year-old Crystal Burnick of Skippack, Pa. who finished with a time of 57:05 and a pace of 5:42/mi.
