Roof fire erupts at Wilmington middle school

WILMINGTON, Del. (WPVI) -- Firefighters made quick work of a blaze at a middle school in Wilmington, Delaware.

It was around 3 p.m. Wednesday when flames erupted on the roof of the A. I. Du Pont Middle School along Kennett Pike.

The fire started on the roof, officials say.

It took about 30 minutes to bring the fire under control.

No injuries were reported.
