The Route 100 Bridge has been closed indefinitely after concrete fell from the bridge onto the railway line below Tuesday morning.

ELSEMERE (WPVI) -- The Route 100 Bridge in Elsmere, Delaware has been closed indefinitely after concrete fell from the bridge onto the railway line below.

The concrete fell in the overnight hours Tuesday from the bridge located near New Road and the Kirkwood Highway.

DelDOT officials say traffic is being detoured in the area.

There is no word on when the bridge will reopen.
