VIDEO: SEPTA bus catches fire at Penn's Landing
Firefighters responded to Front and Chestnut Streets after the bus burst into flames. No passengers were on board.

PENNS LANDING (WPVI) -- The tail end of a SEPTA bus caught fire along Penns Landing Tuesday morning.

It was just before noon when the Route 33 bus caught fire while parked in the vicinity of Front and Chestnut streets.

A SEPTA mechanic was working on the bus when it caught fire.

SEPTA tells Action News that there were no passengers on the bus at the time, and that no one was injured.

There is no word yet on how the bus caught fire.
