Serious crash jams traffic on I-95 in Delaware County

CHESTER, Pa. (WPVI) -- A serious crash jammed traffic on I-95 in Delaware County.

It happened at 5:30 a.m. Monday in the northbound lanes approaching the Route 322 exit in Chester.

Police tell Action News a Jeep Wrangler crashed and flipped, ending up on its side.

Medics were called to the scene.

There was no immediate word on the number or extent of injuries.

The crash sent fuel and debris spilling across two right lanes.

All lanes were intermittently blocked as medics worked to transport the injured and police investigated.

The crash caused big delays during the Monday morning rush hour.
