Shooting victim discovered onboard SEPTA bus in Kensington

KENSINGTON (WPVI) -- Police say a shooting victim was discovered after he was found bleeding on a SEPTA bus in Kensington.

It all began around 9:00 p.m. Wednesday night.

A SEPTA Route 60 bus picked up a male passenger at B Street and West Allegheny Avenue.

After he boarded the bus, other passengers began to complain that the man was bleeding.

The bus driver pulled over at North Front Street and West Allegheny Avenue and called police.

Officers believe the man had been shot in the foot prior to boarding the bus.

He was taken to Temple University Hospital for what appears to be non-life threatening injuries.

No word where the shooting took place.

Police are investigating.
