MULLICA HILL, N.J. -- Students are being dismissed from Clearview High School after an earlier lockdown that, sources said, was prompted by the discovery of a bullet.

A statement on the school district's website said all high school students must take the bus home except for those who drove.

Student vehicles will have to be cleared by police, the district said.

A source tells Action News that a single bullet was found in the parking lot of the school.

It's not known where the bullet came from or how long it had been there.

The school district says all students and staff are safe.
