An 18-year-old was hit by a stray bullet while inside his Wilmington home, police say.

WILMINGTON (WPVI) -- An 18-year-old was hit by a stray bullet while inside his Wilmington home, police say.

It happened around 12:35 a.m. Monday on the 300 block of East 14th Street.

Police say the bullet went through a window at the apartment complex and struck the teen.

A vehicle in the parking lot that had a shattered window.

Police say the victim was shot in the neck and remains hospitalized in stable condition.

No arrests have been made.
