Suspect identified in Parkside arson

PARKSIDE (WPVI) -- Investigators from the ATF have identified a suspect in an arson last week in the Parkside section of Philadelphia.

Shawn King, 43, of the 5700 block of Arch Street, is accused of starting the fire on Wednesday, December 17th.

The ATF says and explosion and fire were reported at 2:30 a.m. at a home in the 5400 block of West Girard Avenue.

Firefighters arrived to find two people trapped on a porch roof.

The fire was put out, but not before it damaged that home and two adjoining properties.

No injuries were reported.
