Taylor Swift sent flowers and a card to the family of a Lehigh County girl who was struck and killed by car last week.

EMMAUS, Pa. (WPVI) -- Music superstar and Berks County native Taylor Swift has always been good to her fans. And this time, a heartwarming gesture for an 11-year-old superfan who recently passed away.

Swift sent flowers to the grieving family of Abbie Zukowski, who died last week after being struck by a car in Emmaus, Lehigh County.

She also included a sweet note to Abbie's surprised, but very grateful mom.

"This is unbelievable because I can feel Abbie smiling. I felt her presence and her happiness. She's probably singing her heart out because she is thrilled this happened," said Abbie's mother, Lisa Zukowski.

Taylor Swift found out about the tragedy after Abbie's friends started a social media campaign with the hashtag #TaylorRememberAbbie to get her attention.

They say they are overwhelmed by the star's response.
