Teen injured in Southwest Philadelphia shooting

Police say a 19-year-old male was injured in a shooting in Southwest Philadelphia early Thursday morning.

The incident happened around 12:45 a.m. on the 5800 block of Hadfield Street.

The victim told police, he was outside a residence when a gunman came up and fired on him.

He managed to run to a nearby house for help.

Medics arrived and took the victim to the hospital. He is in stable condition.

Police are searching for the gunman.
