The t-shirts feature the phrases "we take what we want" and "just let it happen".

Clothing that was supposed to motivate a Texas high school football team is now banned from campus because some people think it promotes rape.

The t-shirts feature the phrases "we take what we want", and "just let it happen".

The football club president said the message was for players to take the ball and go for the win, but it quickly sparked backlash.

One senior girl even wrote a newspaper editorial voicing her concern.

The district has since banned the shirts at school.
