Two people were arrested in a Wilmington drug bust.

WILMINGTON (WPVI) -- Police say a routine traffic stop led to a big drug bust in Wilmington.

Investigators recovered $14,000 worth of heroin, a gun loaded with 19 rounds, and $2,000 from a vehicle on North Claymont Street Monday night.

They also arrested Andrew Laws, Cornelius Smith, and their teenaged friend.

The patrolman who pulled them over says he smelled marijuana coming from the car so he asked everyone to get out.

Police say they found the heroin and other items after getting a search warrant.

The suspects were booked on drugs and weapons charges.
