The Pennsylvania State Trooper who survived an ambush shooting, allegedly at the hands of Eric Frein, is home for the holidays.
Trooper Alex Douglass was shot in the pelvis in the September attack at the Blooming Grove barracks.
Corporal Bryon Dickson was killed.
Douglass still has a long road ahead in his recovery, but was healthy enough to leave his rehabilitation center to spend Christmas with his family in Lackawanna County.
He posted a photo posing with his brother on Facebook, thanking people for their well wishes.
