TOMS RIVER, N.J. (WPVI) -- A truck that plunged into icy water in Toms River last week was finally removed Monday.

Chopper 6 HD was high above as crews used huge air bags to lift the truck out of the water.

As Action News reported last week, the truck drove onto the ice and began spinning in circles before the ice broke and the truck sunk into the water.

Police later found a dead dog inside the truck.

The driver and a passenger later turned themselves into authorities for questioning.
