Victim shot and killed in Port Richmond home identified

PORT RICHMOND (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police have identified a man shot and killed in the city's Port Richmond section.

Police say officers found 30-year-old Andre Brody in the kitchen of his home in the 1900 block of East Venango Street at 10:17 p.m. Monday.

He had been shot in the head.

The shooting happened before 10 p.m. Monday in a home on the 1900 block of East Venango Street.

Medics rushed him to Temple University Hospital, where he died a short time later.

Police were questioning people inside the home.

They have not released details about a possible suspects or motives.
