MANTUA (WPVI) -- The ex-girlfriend of the victim in a violent home invasion early Tuesday morning is among the suspects.
It happened around 1 a.m. on the 800 block of North 40th Street, in the Mantua section of Philadelphia.
According to police the victim, a 34-year-old man, heard his ex-girlfriend yelling outside.
He opened the door and she, along with three masked men, rushed through the front door, police say.
Then, according to investigators, the victim's ankles and wrists were tied with duct tape.
The men demanded money, drugs and guns before pistol-whipping the victim. After rummaging through the house, the suspects fled.
The victim was able to free himself and get to a neighbor's house to call 911.
The victim is currently being treated for a head injury.
Police have not said yet if anything was actually stolen.
