LAKELAND, Fla. (WPVI) -- A Florida woman was arrested after police said she was driving drunk - and streaming it live on Periscope.

Whitney Beall, 23, started the Periscope broadcast at a bar and then got behind the wheel of her car.

Beall was using the live streaming app as she slurred her words and swerved between lanes in Lakeland, Florida on Saturday night.

Dozens of concerned users saw the live stream on the app and called police.

"I'm driving home drunk...I am really drunk," she says in the video. "This is horrible guys. I'm driving home drunk. Let's see if I get a DUI. I don't think I will."

A quick-thinking police officer used his personal Periscope account and logged in to watch the live feed. He figured out where Beall was driving and pulled her over.

Beall was arrested her after she failed several field sobriety tests and refused a breathalyzer.
