Woman finds boyfriend shot, critically wounded in Kensington

KENSINGTON (WPVI) -- Police say a man who was found by his girlfriend with two bullet wounds to the head has been pronounced dead.

The shooting happened at 2:00 a.m. Monday in the 1800 block of East Ontario Street in the Kensington section of Philadelphia.

A woman told police her boyfriend went to the store.

When he didn't return, she went out to look for him and found him shot.

Medics rushed the man to an area hospital in critical condition.

He was pronounced dead a short time later.

No arrests have been made.
