A woman was injured after a wild car crash in Philadelphia's Hunting Park section early Saturday morning.

HUNTING PARK (WPVI) -- A woman was injured after a wild car crash in Philadelphia's Hunting Park section early Saturday morning.

The crash occurred around 2:00 a.m. at the intersection of North 2nd and Glenwood Avenue.

Police say the driver was traveling at a high speed of rate when they lost control.

The car flipped over and landed on top of washers and dryers outside a business.

A woman was thrown from the car. She ended up under the car, surrounded by down wires.

The wires were from a pole that the car snapped into pieces.

The woman was taken to Temple University Hospital for treatment.

So far, there is no word on her condition.

Police are investigating the report that another person may have fled from the scene.
